Unit Composition: 4 Deathwatch, 1 Deathwatch Alpha These elite Marines are only taken from the 1st Veteran companies of a chapter or the High Command of the chapter. Torias Telion, Astaroth the Grim, Master Azrael and other prominent Space Marines including Marneus Calgar himself have been offered places.
In the grim darkness of the 41st Millenium, the Deathwatch are a necessity and some Astartes have been offered a position in the Deathwatch but turned it down. There are a few rare Astartes from successors such as Crimson Fists, Blood Ravens, Praetors of Orpheus and Angels of Absolution. Most first founding chapters nominate several battle brothers to enter the Deathwatch and a 10 man squad contains Astartes from 10 different Chapters. Only the most intolerant of Space Marines are allowed in and they believe that all Xenos should be killed on sight. The Deathwatch are a part of the Ordo Xenos which are made up of Space Marines from all different Chapters. I'm new and have no idea if this has already been done, Deathwatch have been relatively shafted when it comes to any kind of rules.
